Dance concert of Rena Milgrom and percussionist Hearn Gadbois.
A testimony of both separately and together is inspired by the jungian concept of life transformations, personal psalms and rituals. Hearn and Rena are presenting strong comunication - dance with drums and feminine element with the masculin.
Hearn - master percussionist, playing tonbak, frame drum and his unusual handmade instruments. Almost 40 years of his professional musical life brought him artistic colaborations with many artists of different musical and dance genres. Author of 2 solo CD, where his music reflects rhytmical wisdom of many world cultures. Living in Prague, he teaches courses "Rhythms across cultures".
Rena Milgrom - founder and teacher of Zambra studio and NGO Open field. Besides Asian-Oriental dance forms she teaches Movement Design based on Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies.
